Man airlifted after hitting boat trailer on motorcycle

(Mille Lacs County, MN) — A motorcycle rider was airlifted after striking a boat trailer on Highway 169 in Mille Lacs County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a 2006 Harley Davidson XL 1200, ridden by 28-year-old Zachary Olson of Mora, was southbound on Highway 169 and was passing a line of vehicles. He struck the tire of a boat trailer being towed by a 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe that was northbound. Olson slid to a stop on the shoulder and was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital due to multiple non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Tahoe, 61-year-old David Myers of Barron, Wisconsin did not need medical attention.
The Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
