Picture Perfect Fall In Store for Lake Park Pumpkin Fest

Lake Park, MN — Not too warm…not too cold. This weekend looks to offer nearly perfect fall weather, which will be great for the many fall events planned throughout the region. Perhaps none will benefit more than the annual Lake Park Pumpkin Fest. Committee member Terri Nelson says the nice weather should bring out hundreds of people for their two marquee events: this Saturday’s car show and craft and vendor show.
Both the Car show and Craft & Vendor Show will run from 9am until 2pm. During that time there will be a bunch of fun activities for kids and other pumpkin themed events in the park as well.
Wagon Rides, corn maze, face painting, pumpkin clean and carving contest, parade, and kiddie parade are some of the other activities this Saturday. Nelson adds that there is also a number food options.
The Lake Park Fire Department will also be serving brats at the Legion following the parade from 3:30 until 5pm. For more information, find Lake Park Pumpkin Fest on Facebook.
