Hill City School Board meeting from September 27th

(Hill City, MN) — The Hill City School Board conducted their regular meeting Monday to review personnel matters and establish the Truth and Taxation Meeting.
We chatted with Hill City Schools Superintendent Pat Rendle on the events of the meeting which included an introduction of potential protocols in the event of dramatic COVID case increases within the District.
The Board also took initiative in setting their annual levy as well trying to entice substitute teachers in filling in much needed positions.
The Hill City School Board did accept resignations from David Hack and Jodi Gulbraa, while approving to post available positions of EBD Special Education Long Term Substitute, 6-12 Mathematics Long Term Substitute, and English Credit Recovery Teacher Aide.
Approval was also given to set the Proposed Levy Limitation and Certification 2021 Payable 2022 at the maximum. The date for the Truth and Taxation Meeting for December 13th at 7pm from the Hill City School Community Room.
The Hill City School Board will next meet on Monday October 25th at 6pm.
