Aitkin County CARE offering fresh veggies, exercise classes, and more

(Aitkin, MN) — Aitkin County CARE will be providing healthy food options, entertainment, and companionship this fall through their various programs.
We recently spoke with Aitkin County CARE Executive Director Lynne Jacobs about their newest program to make fresh vegetables available to the aging population.
Along with healthy food options, CARE also has available classes and programs to help with exercise.
CARE also has opportunities for people to coach exercise programs.
Jacobs did also talk about more fun for the CARE clients and the public to enjoy live entertainment.
Even in the fall season, CARE is still in search of volunteers to help with those seasonal projects for their clients.
