Ada, MN — The City of Ada will host a public hearing at the beginning of their regular council meeting on Tuesday to discuss a $600,000 home rehabilitation grant the city has applied for with help from the Minnesota Housing Authority. If the city were to be awarded the grant, that $600,000 would be available for the city to offer to residents in the form of grants or low interest loans for home rehabilitation work, according to Ada City Administrator Ashley Larson.

The public hearing is one of the required steps towards acquiring the grant. Larson adds that its important that those potentially interested in the program attend the meeting or provide comment because the more that do, the higher the city scores in grant process.

The Ada City Council meets Tuesday, October 5th at 6pm in Council Chambers, which are located in the basement of City Hall. For more information, contact Ada City Hall.
