Riverwood Foundation Gala canceled for 2021

(Aitkin, MN) — Riverwood Healthcare has seen positives and negatives in recent weeks with their annual events that directly benefit the Riverwood Foundation and their initiatives.

Unfortunately, the Riverwood Foundation and their annual Gala will not be happening in 2021. In a release from Foundation Director Katie Nelson, the Gala will be returning in 2022 with donations supporting pediatric care, wellness, mental health, dialysis, hospital nursing, and other various projects.

A success from this summer was the return of the Foundation Charity Golf event that saw full participation and raised $40,000. Proceeds from the event went right to supporting new treatment chairs for the Infusion Department at the hospital.Find much more information by going to www.riverwoodhealthcare.org.
