Upcoming NELL Programs

There are three programs remaining in the Northern Exposure to Lifelong Learning series. Today, October 13th, David Jones will be speaking about the 1936 Olympics at the Good Shephard Church in Clearbrook. A popular speaker he’s presented more than a half a dozen NELL programs over the years according to coordinator Tamara Edevold.

Other upcoming NELL programs include “Shipwrecks on the Great Lakes” with Dick Roue on October 20th at the McIntosh Community Center and” The Ultimate Sacrifice” as local historian Becky Colbank speaks about the men in the area who gave their lives during the different wars over the years. The program will be held October 27 at Leonard Church and is the final NELL program of the fall season. NELL programs are free and open to the public. They begin at 9:30 am with light refreshments served at 9:00 am.
