Mahnomen-Becker FSA Provides Updates on Livestock Assistance Programs
Mahnomen, MN — The drought situation in Northwest Minnesota appears to be greatly improving. The USDA Drought Monitor at one point had parts of the area as high as a D4, the highest drought level, for several weeks. But the latest update had much of the area downgraded to a D2, known as a severe drought. Crystal Dibble with the Mahnomen-Becker County FSA provided us with an update on the available programs for the livestock producers who felt the hit during the exceptional drought period.
