Hunting Reminders

Trespassing is one of the biggest complaints the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office receives during the hunting season. Sheriff Darin Halverson says be sure you know if the land you intend to hunt on is public or not.

Sheriff Halverson emphasizes these reminders for a safe hunt as well. Let others know where you will be so that first responders know where to search should you become lost or have a medical emergency. Hunters should also be prepared by bring a basic first aid kit and other items with you when you head out to the woods.
