Hillsboro, ND — The Hillsboro City Commission held their second regular monthly meeting on Monday night, October 18th at the Hillsboro Community Center. At the meeting, they heard from Larry Mueller of the Hillsboro Airport Authority. Mueller was seeking a signature from the city to back up a loan for the Hangar project, according to Hillsboro City Commission President Terry Sando.

The city commission heard from representatives of the Chicken Scratch Bakery, which the commission last month began the process of condemning. President Sando says the city will work with the owners to get items moved out and the property cleaned up.

And progress continues out at the Riverwalk Development on the west side of the interstate, according to Sando.

The Hillsboro City Commission also approved a cost-sharing request from the HEDC for a billboard advertisement, approved the Beautification Committee Clean Up Policy, and accepted the resignation of their Administrative Assistant and agreed to post for that position.
