New Welcome to Fosston Mural On Highway 2.

As you drive through town on Highway 2 you can’t help but notice the breathtaking mural that welcomes you to Fosston that’s painted on the side of the Auto Value building. Different imagery is depicted in each letter that spells Fosston and represents something in Fosston or the surrounding area. Kirby Vossler has been working on the mural for the past 3 weeks. She explains how she selected the images she painted.

The Fosston Greyhound mascot, stone wall in front of the High School, Veteran’s Memorial and a whimsical cow are the images that complete the Welcome to Fosston mural which resulted from an Arts and Culture Commission grant. Take a look as you drive through Fosston. It’s located on Highway 2 near the stoplight and right next to the Fosston Theater.
