Norman County Salvation Army Taking Applications for Angel Tree Program
Ada, MN — While it may seem a little early to be thinking about the holidays, applications for the Norman County Salvation Army Angel Tree Program are due soon! The applications are available now either at Norman-Mahnomen Public Health or the Norman County Social Services office and must be in by October 29th. The Angel Tree program helps provide children of struggling families with Christmas gifts and Aimee Eggen with the Norman County Salvation Army says this year they can provide for up to 40 kids.
Eggen adds that to qualify for the Angel Tree program, applicants should be enrolled in programs such as SNAP, WIC, or Free and Reduced, but they also will do their best to help all families who may be going through a tough time.
