(Long Lake, MN) — The Long Lakes Conservation Center will be hosting a Phenology Fish Fry with John Latimer on Saturday, November 13th.
The event will include an hour and half nature hike through Long Lake led by John Latmier, of the region’s best and most beloved phenologists, starting at 4pm. After the hike, guests will enjoy a fall feast of fried Red Lake walleye with locally harvested wild rice, plus salad, bread, and dessert, beginning around 6pm.
Admission is $40 per person and is limited to the first 125 people, with all proceeds going to scholarships so students can attend nature school at Long Lake. The Phenology Fish Fry with John Latimer is part of Long Lake’s autumn fundraising campaign that also includes the Nature 4 Kids Scholarship Fundraiser.
