(Aitkin, MN) — The City of Aitkin got a much needed boost to their staff and to long-standing projects after speaking with Mayor Megan Workman recently.
Our monthly update with Mayor Workman started off with the hiring of a new City Administrator.
The on-going work of painting lines for the pickleball courts at the City Park is also moving in the right direction.
Cameras are going to be placed down at the City Park to help deter vandalism along with other helpful tools.
With the cameras and WiFi at the City Park, the Warming House project is also taking major strides.
The outdoor ice rink will be open again this winter, and the City is searching for some help in running and Workman also answered a long standing question.
