Climax-Shelly School Board News & Notes
Climax, MN — The Climax-Shelly School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday night this week. In an attempt to help speed up their regular meetings, the board agreed to start using a consent agenda in the future, which Climax-Shelly Superintendent Dan Dalchow says should take several minutes off their overall meeting time.
The Climax-Shelly School is one of those who will be participating in this coming Tuesday’s special election. Superintendent Dalchow says they are hoping to renew their operating levy and fill a school board position.
Climax-Shelly School District residents can vote in-person at the Climax Community Center on Tuesday, November 2nd from 5-8pm.
Dalchow also provided updates on a number of grants and how the district looks to spend the third round of ESSER funding at this week’s meeting.
And the Climax-Shelly School Board approved a number of appointments, new hires, and other staffing updates.
The Climax-Shelly School Board typically meets on the 3rd Monday of each month.
