Vetarans Day Programs in Clearbrook and Bagley

Veterans Day programs will be held at 9:30 am at Bagley High School and at 10:00 am at Clearbrook-Gonvick School on Thursday November 11th. Clearwater County Veterans Service Officer Logan LeClair shares information on the respective programs.

Veteran’s Day was originally called Armistice Day.  It fell on Nov. 11th because that is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice in 1918 that ended World War I. However, in 1954, the holiday was changed to “Veterans Day” in order to account for all veterans service in all wars.
