(BRAINERD, MN) — This week, we caught up with the president of Central Lakes College, Dr. Hara Charlier, for our monthly conversation to hear about what’s going on with the school.

Dr. Charlier began with the news that CLC has been designated as a “hunger-free campus.”

She continued with some of the things happening on-campus and in athletics, notably with the CLC Raider volleyball team advancing to the national tournament.

Central Lakes College is making a push to encourage prospective students to start their secondary education in the spring semester. Dr. Charlier gave some reasons why this spring is as good of a time as ever.

She expanded on this point by discussing some of the new scholarships that are being offered by the school, for which it is not too late to apply, as well as some new resources for students and prospective students alike.

We thank Dr. Charlier for her time. The Central Lakes College website can be found here and our full interview with Dr. Charlier can be found below.
