Twin Valley, MN — The Twin Valley City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, November 8th at the Twin Valley Community Center. At the meeting, Ulteig Engineering presented their findings on a recent study of the wastewater system from Herold’s Court to the wastewater treatment facility. That report will be used to help the city hopefully secure funding, according to Twin Valley Mayor Ben Fall.

The council approved a resolution allowing Ultieg Engineering to move forward with the grant writing for the project.

The council also had discussions with their department heads about many of their surplus items. Mayor Fall says they have a number of items of value, including an old fire truck, that will soon be heading to an online auction.

And the city may be looking for a new full-time police officer. While there hasn’t been an official resignation, Mayor Fall says they are being proactive in posting for the position.

The Twin Valley City Council will have a special budget session on December 6th and their final regular meeting of the 2021 year on December 13th.
