Ada-Borup-West School Board News & Notes from November 9th Meeting`

Ada, MN — The Ada-Borup-West School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday morning. At the meeting, the board received their 2020 year audit report from Brady Martz and Associates. Ada-Borup-West Superintendent Aaron Cook says everything looked good from the Ada-Borup side, but they’re still finishing up the audit from the Norman County West side, which was a separate district last year.
Also on the financial side of things, Superintendent Cook reported that there looks to be less compensatory aid coming into the district due to a lower amount free and reduced figures.
The Ada-Borup-West School is also making some changes to their quarantine requirements now that COVID-19 cases are trending downwards.
And the district is also going to have to adapt to the Federal Government’s new requirements for vaccinations for employers with more than 100 employees, according to Cook.
Listen to the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program from Wednesday morning featuring ABW School Board member Faye Delong and Superintendent Aaron Cook with a full recap of this week’s meeting.
