Ada-Borup-West to Host Veteran’s Day Program on Thursday Morning

Ada, MN — The Ada-Borup-West School in conjunction with the Ada Legion Post 26 and Ada VFW Post 7557 will hold their annual Veteran’s Day program at the Ada-Borup-West High School Auditorium today (Thursday, November 11th) at 10am. This year’s event will be open to the public and be held both in-person and virtually.  Ada-Borup-West High School Principal Josh Carlson says they are excited to be able to continue the tradition of saluting their vets.

And for those who are unable to attend in-person, they also will again have the opportunity to listen on 106.5 KRJB or watch online at www.yourliveevent.com.  

The Ada-Borup-West Veterans program will feature remarks from local VFW and Legion Commanders and be led by an Ada-Borup-West students. Principal Carlson son adds that this year’s program will feature special remarks from Rod Syverson, who served in Vietnam 50 years ago.

The Ada-Borup-West band and choir, led by Richard Tuttle and Tanya Kemper, will provide special music as well.
