Benefit For Terry Halvorson

Friends, family and community members are putting on a benefit for Terry Halvorson on Saturday, November 20th at the Gonvick American Legion. Doors open at 3:00 pm. There will be a spaghetti meal sponsored by Gonvick Lions Club, a silent auction, drawings and a bake sale. Terry was diagnosed with colon cancer which has since spread. Terry is currently at home on hospice fighting stage 4 cancer. Terry and his wife Stacy reside west of Gonvick. Kim Solberg is one of the organizers and shares what they have planned for the benefit.

Kim lists some of the items that have been donated for the silent auction.

Donations can be dropped off at Julie’s Hair Care in Gully, Northern State Bank in Gonvick, the Trap Bar and Grill in Gonvick or with Lonny English, Evon Quern, Devin Aakre or Kim Solberg. They hope to see you at the benefit for Terry Halvorson on Saturday, November 20th at the Gonvick American Legion.
