Fertile Council Recap from November 8th Meeting
Fertile, MN — The Fertile City Council held their regular monthly meeting last Monday night, November 8th. At the meeting they continued discussions about signing up for a new app service that would help the city with providing community updates. While there is still some development needed before it can be launched, Fertile City Administrator Lisa Liden says they will be the first city to sign on for the service.
Also at last week’s meeting, the council agreed to terminate an old road agreement with the Garfield Township.
The Fertile City Council approved the purchase of a parcel of land connected to their nature center, which Liden says they were able to acquire for only administrative costs.
And the council also discussed a right-of-way issue on the road to the nature center as well.
The Fertile City Council also approved pay applications and a change order for the airport project.
