Hill City Council meeting minutes from November 9th

(Hill City, MN) — The Hill City Council meeting from Tuesday, November 9th took into review project updates and established plans for future projects during their regular meeting from the City Hall Community Room.
According to the unofficial minutes posted on the City of Hill City Facebook page, City Clerk Tami Meyer said that the Camp Spot will be up and running and taking reservations starting January 1st and the timing release of the City’s newsletter with copies to be placed at Roadside and Sunny’s.
The Park Improvement Committee did accept a check from $3,159.00 from the Northwoods Quad ATV Club from the Jim Bray Memorial Ride, which will go towards the City playground equipment projects.
The Events & Recreation Committee is planning for a “Winter in the Park” event for Sunday, December 12th from 2-4pm in Bear Park, with the plan to have sleigh rides, Hot Coco, carols, and a visit from Santa.The Council moved to approve the floyer for the event and spend up to $400 for the event.
Approval was given to renew Liquor Licenses for Harry’s, Knuckleheads, Roadside, and the Golf Course.
The Council approved the first reading of the Social Media Policy, sent the second reading of the Financial Procedures & Controls Policy, and the forfeited 2016 Ford Fusion and total of $6,270.95 was transferred into the Drug Fund.
Discussion on the Dump Station and Fee Ordinance updates were tabled until the November 23rd meeting. The Council also approved setting the Budget Meeting date for November 23rd at 5pm.
Approval was also given to the Airport Maintenance & Operations Grant Contract, with the Public Safety Director Job Description, and Police Officer Job Description.
The Hill City Council will have a special meeting on Tuesday, November 23rd at 5pm with their Budget meeting to follow.
