Nisswa Mayor Talks Growth, Year-End Projects, and More from November 16 Council Meeting

(NISSWA, MN) — The city of Nisswa held its November regular council meeting on Tuesday, so we spoke with Mayor John Ryan to gather the latest.

The council heard a presentation from the city’s planning and zoning committee, and Ryan said the big takeaway from the presentation was the profound growth in spending on developments in 2021.

As far as whether such growth can be expected to continue long term, Ryan relayed the forecast from the city planner.

Ryan also talked about some of the projects that the city is wrapping up as the calendar year draws to a close.

Finally, Ryan brought up Nisswa’s City of Lights event that is coming up next week.
