Cuyuna Christmas packed full of holiday events December 2-4

(Crosby, MN) — Smiles for Jake and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center are teaming up for their sights and sounds of the holiday season with numerous events for Cuyuna Christmas during the first weekend in December.
The free events run December 2-4 in the Cuyuna Area in an effort to support Smiles for Jake, a local suicide prevention movement that spreads positivity through the message that everyone should have hope.
Starting Thursday, December 2nd, Girls Night Out will have three nights of shopping at local businesses where shoppers will receive stamps and be eligible to win $500 and several door prizes. Entry forms need to be delivered to the Ironton Legion by 8:30pm on Thursday, December 2nd. The Deerwood American Legion will also be hosting a designer handbag raffle with burger specials and Bonanza from 1-6pm.
Friday, December 3rd will have a candlelight snowshoe and hiking event along the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area Trails. Later in the evening, a Reindeer Rump Mega Meat Raffle begins at 6:30pm and a Jingle Bell Jam with live music and a holiday attire contect will take place at 7pm, both at the Deerwood American Legion.
A full Saturday starts off with Lunch with Santa at the Deerwood Legion from 11am-2pm. Each child will receive lunch donated by the Deerstand, visit Santa, and receive a treat bag and gift appropriate to their age, enjoy entertainment, and go home with a bag full of all the ingredients for a holiday ham dinner. Snow Many Smiles events will be from 2-6:30pm at Crosby Memorial Park with many activities and entertainment for the entire family. The lighting ceremony of CRMC’s Tree of Love will begin at 3:45pm followed by the free performance of country duo Tigirlilly at 4pm. The grand finale of the night will be capped off by fireworks at 6pm over Serpent Lake.
