Community Co-op General Manager Provides Update on Pump 24 Fire
Mahnomen, MN — The Pump 24 C- Store in Mahnomen owned by Community Co-op sustained heavy damage from a fire on Saturday November 20th. The damage to the store will require the store to be closed for several months while they work thru the process of repairing or rebuilding this location. Community Co-op General Manager Dave Bloomseth says they are committed to getting this location back open as soon as possible to serve the people and community of Mahnomen and the surrounding area.
If you have specific needs for diesel fuel please contact Community Co-op at 1-888-935-2281 and they will work to meet those needs with additional tanks and truck deliveries. We will also have a temporary fuel tank set up soon at our office in Mahnomen for diesel fuel for government and essential service vehicles such as county vehicles, school buses and emergency vehicles from the Mahnomen area. This will be available from 8 to 4 Monday thru Friday and on weekends in cases of emergency by contacting our after hours number.
Bloomseth adds that during this time of being closed all of the employees of Pump 24 will be employed at other locations or will continue to be paid while they go thru the process of rebuilding the Mahnomen location and will be back waiting to serve you when they reopen in the future.
Bloomseth would also like to thank all of the local fire departments for their great work.
Bloomseth also extends a thank you to all of the people in the community that have reached out and offered their support to their company and our staff. He adds “We will be back at this location to serve you as soon as we can. “
