Ada Police Department Warns of Those Attempting to Take Advantage of Your Holiday Spirit

Ada, MN — All day long, the post office, UPS, and Fed Ex are busy delivering important packages all around the community as many people have switched to doing their shopping online. While its convenient for them, it can also be convenient for thieves when your package is left out in the open, making it an easy target. Ada Police Chief Jody Bueng encourages residents to take extra precautions to protect your valuable packages this holiday season.

Bueng also says that people should be aware of potential scammers who are trying to take advantage of their giving spirit this holiday season as well.

And for those planning on taking extended vacations this year during the holidays, or anytime of the year, Bueng notes that the Ada Police Department will gladly keep an eye on your place while your are gone.
