SWCD 9th Annual Photo Contest Winners
BRAINERD, MN –November 24, 2021– Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) invited photographers of all ages and abilities to submit their photos for the 2021 Native Plant & Tree Photo Contest Due in October.
With great honor, Crow Wing SWCD is proud to present the first-place winner, Joe Pye Weed by Kate Stephany, will receive a 20”x16” canvas of their photo, the second-place winner, Blue Vervain by Courtney Neifert, will receive an 12”x16” canvas with their photo on it, and the third-place winner, Prairie Blazing Star by Jennifer Quam, will receive a 12”x16” canvas with their photo on it. They are currently featuring 2020 photo contest winners in our 2021 Crow Wing County Plat Books, and plan to give a canvas away at the county fair or other event. All the entries will be featured on the Facebook page, SWCD website and potentially other educational or promotional items for the Crow Wing SWCD.
