City of Hill City Public Hearing, Truth and Taxation meeting for December 14th

(Hill City, MN) — The City of Hill City Council will continue their updates on projects while hearing from an Edward Jones representative at 6pm tonight following their meetings for the Fee Ordinance Schedule and Truth and Taxation.
The Council will meet at 5:30pm for a public hearing on the Fee Ordinance Schedule which will lead to the Truth and Taxation meeting at 6pm.
Going into the regular meeting, Bob Zaun will speak to the Council on behalf of Edward Jones.
Department reports will include an update from the Land Use Committee on Tree houses and the Events & Recreation Committee on the Winter in the Park event from December 12th.
Old Business updates will feature the Council hearing a complaint from T. Nielsen, the next steps for the Police Department, and updates on the Community Garden, Dump Station, and COVID-19 Preparedness.
New Business include the approval of the Local 49 Contract and Fishing Contest for February 12th. More discussion will also take place on the Water Vendor program from Lakes & Pines, the 2022 Final Levy, and letter from Randy Landrus.
The City of Hill City Council will hold the Fee Ordinance public hearing starting at 5:30pm, the Truth and Taxation meeting at 6pm, with the regular meeting to follow from the City Hall Council Chambers.
