(Cuyuna, MN) — The Cuyuna Fire and Police Departments are teaming together this holiday season in an effort to raise money for ‘Toy For Kids’ with the sale of special holiday patches.
According to the Cuyuna Police Department Facebook page, patches are being sold for $10 with proceeds staying locally for Minnesota children to have a Merry Christmas.
To purchase a patch, contact a Cuyuna Police officer or email cuyunapolice@gmail.com. Checks can be made out to ‘Toys for Kids’ and be mailed to Cuyuna Police Department, PO Box 536, Deerwood, MN 56444. They also ask to include a return address to mail the patch.
The special holiday patches depict a Miner standing in front of a mine shaft wearing a Santa hat with a pickaxe over its shoulder and a St Bernard dog next to it surrounded by Christmas trees. In festive red and green letters, the border of the patch also features holiday lights for the Cuyuna Fire and Police Departments.
