Ulen-Hitterdal School Board Continues Childcare Facility Discussions
Ulen, MN — The Ulen-Hitterdal School Board held their regular monthly meeting last Wednesday, December 8th. As it was the final meeting of the calendar year, the school board held the annual truth in taxation hearing and set their levy at the maximum amount. Ulen-Hitterdal School Superintendent Ryan Baron says during that hearing there was some discussion as to why taxes appear to have increased when many assumed they would decrease.
Following the Truth in Taxation hearing, the school board continued discussions about the proposed childcare facility project. Superintendent Baron says by searching around for contractors, it appears they may be able to bring the overall cost of that project down.
Also at last week’s meeting the school board approved a contract with Caulfield studios for their photography.
The Ulen-Hitterdal School Board meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
