Mahnomen County Stepping Up Efforts to Recruit and Retain New Employees

Mahnomen, MN — In a time where jobs are in high demand and workforce is hard to come by, Mahnomen County is stepping up their efforts to better recruit and retain employees. The county is now utilizing bonuses to incentivize employees to move to Mahnomen and to stay on the job long-term. Mahnomen County Administrator CJ Holl says new employees could have the opportunity to cash in on up to $4,500 in bonuses through their new Recruitment and Retention Program.

Holl says there a number of departments that are currently hiring, but perhaps those most in need of filling positions are in the County Attorneys Office and Sheriff’s Department.
