(Crosby, MN) — Project Unite, a group of concerned Crosby-Ironton School parents, were present at the Board of Education meeting on Monday to present their concerns and suggestions on how to close the gap of miscommunication in the event of threats against the District and students.
Project unite organizer Johnna Johnson spoke to the Board about the groups biggest concerns from Project Unite’s December 15th meeting.
Other areas of concern also included communication between the School District and the parents and community while also addressing fear.
Johnson did also talk about how the community and the School District can come together and begin to help each other.
The Crosby-Ironton Board of Education will be looking into holding listening sessions with Project Unite in order to foster a working relationship and moving forward to implementing some suggestions in the new year.
