‘Have a Plan, Stick to it’ says MSP Lt. Keith Benz on drinking, not driving

(Aitkin, MN) — Enjoying the holiday season doesn’t have to include getting behind the wheel after spending an evening drinking and putting not only your life but other drivers lives in jeopardy.

In our conversation we had with Minnesota State Patrol Lieutenant Keith Benz says the decision to drink and drive is avoidable with a plan to get a ride.

Even if you haven’t had a drink in a while and then drive, there are other ways that could lead to getting pulled over or worse.

Besides drinking, speeding and other factors have led to more deaths on Minnesota roads in the turn of the century.

Lt. Benz did also mention these numbers jump out because there are less cars on the roads.
