City of Aitkin update with Mayor Megan Workman

(Aitkin, MN) — 2021 projects are taking their strides into the new year with other year end matters being wrapped up, according to City of Aitkin Mayor Megan Workman.
In our monthly conversation, Workman says the pickle ball court project will be ready to go in the Spring.
In the same realm of the hockey rink, the City of Aitkin is still looking for a hockey rink attendant.
The City of Aitkin also reviewed and updated ordinances, including keeping chickens within city limits.
Mayor Workman also noted tax increases with the passing of the City’s Levy and Budget was not taken lightly.
