(Aitkin, MN) — 2021 was another successful year for the Aitkin County Soil and Water Conservation District in many facets with record numbers of AIS boat inspections to forestry and stewardship plans.
In our most recent conversation with SWCD manager Steve Hughes talked about the dramatic change in weather conditions, some of their work has been made more accessible.
Foresters can also get more work done during the winter months.
