Mentor, MN – The town of Mentor has had a busy year, with a community event almost every month along with repairing the city playground. City clerk Lisa Schumburg spoke about the support shown for the different events and opportunities for people to gather. Schumburg says despite the pandemic, people in Mentor show their support for the community by participating in said events. This includes fundraisers, sales and holiday gatherings.
The old school building was also renovated. This gave the city government the opportunity to add more storage and office spaces for rental purposes. There are also plans for more projects in 2022, but those are currently in the early stages. If all goes to plan, Mentor will host just as many, if not more, events and projects in the coming new year.
