Twin Valley, MN — The Norman County East School Board held their first regular monthly meeting of the 2022 year on Tuesday night in Twin Valley. As part of that was the annual board reorganization and committee assignments. Norman County East Superintendent Rob Nudell says there were no major changes this year, other than an adjustment to their summer meeting schedule.

The Norman County East School Board also approved their 2022-2023 school calendar, which Nudell notes will closely resemble previous calendars.

In his Superintendent Report, Nudell shared an update on their recent ALICE Training, which prepares staff and students in the event of an armed intruder.

And Superintendent Nudell has been splitting his Administrative duties with the Battle Lake School District in recent months on an interim basis. He notes that both districts are very similar and that he will likely continue with his shared role moving forward.

If his shared contract is approved by the Battle Lake School Board later this month, the Norman County East School Board would likely vote to approve it at their February meeting.
