Polk County GOP Holds In-Person Caucus at Multiple Locations for Maximum Reach

Polk County, MN – The Polk County GOP caucus will be hosted in-person this coming Tuesday, February 1st starting at 7 P.M. sharp. At the various locations, the party caucus is a great way for party members new and old to get involved in local politics. Bennett Osmundsen shared about the upcoming event for the Grand Old Party (GOP) and how getting involved can be a way for party members to let their voices be heard. Osmundsen shared the different ways individuals can become involved in their party during the caucus and throughout the year.
Items of resolutions will then be carried forward at the Mentor meeting. The delegates will also be the ones to vote on the straw poll for the gubernatorial race. Currently, there are six candidates that are under consideration from the Minnesota GOP. The results of the straw poll will be sent to the state party. People will have the chance to attend the caucus as the Minnesota legislature allows for the caucus to be prioritized.
The Minnesota Republican caucus for Polk County will be held at 7 P.M. on Tuesday, February 1st.
