“Ada, Catch the Spirit!” Highlights the Successes of the Community

Ada Mayor John Hintz closes out “Ada, Catch the Spirit” on Wednesday, March 23th

Ada, MN — The annual “Ada, Catch the Spirit” event was held last night at the Ada Events Center, which featured presentations from the Ada Lions, Ada Chamber of Commerce, Ada-Borup-West School, Ada Future Leaders, the City of Ada, and more. Mark Askelson of R & J News caught up with Ada Mayor John Hintz following “Ada, Catch the Spirit” to recap the event and talk about some of the highlights from the city of Ada in the past year.

Bob Johnson was also recognized at the event as “Community Member of the Year” as was the Ada Honor Guard for the “Community Service Award.”

West Main Pizza provided a pasta bar and Subway supplied cookies.  Ada, Catch the Spirit was sponsored by the Ada Chamber of Commerce, City of Ada and Ada EDA, Ada Lions, and Ada Future Leaders.

The Ada Honor Guard was awarded Community Service of the Year at “Ada, Catch the Spirit!”

Jim Birkemeyer of R & J Broadcasting emceed the event on Wednesday night at the Ada Events Center.

Ada-Borup-West Superintendent Aaron Cook provided an update on happenings at the school.
