Fertile-Beltrami School Board News & Notes from August 9th Meeting
Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday night, August 9th. There were a number of staffing items addressed at the meeting as they too, like most districts, have been struggling to fill positions this summer. Fertile-Beltrami Superintendent Brian Clarke says they are still working on filling an Ag Teacher and PreK position, but did hire a new Activities Director and Dean of Students.
The Fertile-Beltrami School Board also approved the new handbooks and policies heading into the new school year. There were only a few minor changes, but there were a few things worth noting according to Superintendent Clarke.
And lastly, Superintendent Clarke just reminds parents that unfortunately, COVID is still a thing and students need to stay home if they are sick.
The Fertile-Beltrami School Board also approved milk and bread bids at this week’s meeting.
