Foster Grandparents being sought by Lutheran Social Services
(Minnesota) — Making an all important connection between youth and the aging population through the Foster Grandparent program was the topic of conversation with Ron Urbanski from Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota.
As Foster Grandparent Program Director for LSS Minnesota, Urbanski gave background on how it all began.
Coordination with schools in the area and foster grandparent volunteers that both benefit from the program is also facilitated by LSS.
Senior Citizens thinking of volunteering for the Foster Grandparent Program will have to follow these requirements.
Schools will be matched with Foster Grandparents based on location and immediate need.
