CLIMAX, MN – #9 Badger-Greenbush-Middle River Gators defeated #8 Climax-Fisher Knights, 55-40, on Monday night’s play-in matchup.

The Gators were able to take a lead halfway in the first half, and controlled the lead for most of the game from that point on. Senior Gabe Warne led all scorers with 17 points. Guard Ty Christian also added in 16 points for BGMR.

Climax-Fisher senior Dylan Korynta led the team in scoring with 12 points. Junior Ethan Evitts scored 11 points, but dealt with foul trouble in the game as well, fouling out with 3:27 left in the game.

Badger-Greenbush-Middle River moves on to play against Sacred Heart on Thursday night.
