Anoka-Ramsey CC at Rainy River MBB

The Rainy River men’s basketball team played their first home games of the season as they faced Riverland and Anoka-Ramsey.  On Friday, the Voyageurs trailed 38-33 at the break before falling by a final score of 70-68.  Kendris Henry led Rainy with 19 points and Key-lin Nelson had a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.  On Saturday, the Voyageurs outscored Anoka-Ramsey 49-21 in the second half as they won by a score of 84-60.  Faizon Francis paced Rainy River with 22 points, Stephan Mereus had 17, and Nelson had another double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.   The Voyageur men play on Friday in Brainerd against Riverland.
