Bigfork at Littlefork-Big Falls

The second game of our doubleheader coverage had the Littlefork Big Falls boys hosting the Bigfork Huskies.  The game had a similar feel as the girls game with every time the Huskies would try to pull away, the Vikings would rally back to make it close.  After trailing 33-32 at the half, LBF made the first basket of the 2^nd half to take the lead before Bigfork went on a 17-0 run to build a 16 point lead.  The Vikings would not go away as they had a 13-0 run to tie the game at 54 with 4 minutes left in the game.  Bigfork did just enough to stave off Littlefork-Big Falls as they Huskies won 62-58.  Tommy Larson led the Vikings with 19 points and Brayden Maish has 11.  Freshman AJ Knaeble, who was playing in his first game of the season and made three 3’s for 9 points, said it was fun to play again

Littlefork-Big Falls is now 2-14 on the season and will host North Woods on Friday.
