Bottineau 0 at Hillsboro Central Valley 27

The Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros’ defense had four first half redzone stops and forced five takeaways in the game to get the shutout victory over the Bottineau Braves 27-0. The Burros scored twice after Brave turnovers in the first half, once after a fumble recovered inside the Brave 20-yard line, and another after a Brave interception in the endzone ended the Bottineau scoring chance for a 13-0 halftime score. The Burros would add a pair of rushing scores in the second half as they looked to keep the ball on the ground and burn away the clock for the victory. H/CV is now 6-1 and travels to Rugby next week while Bottineau suffers their first loss on the season to fall to 6-1. The Braves will host the Thompson Tommies next Friday.
