Bagley, MN — The Bagley Flyers improved to 3-0 on the season after beating the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears in straight sets, 25-8, 25-23, 28-26, on Tuesday night.

The Bears were lackluster in the energy department in the opening set allowing the Flyers to jump out to an early advantage and handily win. But Clearbrook-Gonvick was able to bounce back in the last two sets and even taking late leads but were unable to close out either set. With their third straight victory to begin the season, the Flyers have now eclipsed their win total from last season and will travel to Blackduck next Tuesday to take on the Drakes. Clearbrook-Gonvick meanwhile, is still searching for their first win and they will be at home this Thursday to battle with the Kelliher/Northome Mustangs.
