Red Lake Falls, MN — The Red Lake Falls Eagles put on a dominant performance on Thursday night as they defeated the Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears 3-0. The Eagles were off and running in set one as they worked an early lead and ran away with a 25-13 victory. Early in set two it was a different story, the Bears got out to an early advantage leading 10-3. However, the eagles would use a 13-1 run to regain the lead and only allowed four more points and won the set 25-15. The Eagles high energy play carried over to set three and were able to tame the Bears comeback efforts securing the 25-11 set three win and the match 3-0.

The Eagles are now 8-3 on the year and will travel to Thief River Falls on Tuesday September 20th to play the Prowlers. For Clearbrook-Gonvick, they are now 0-5 and will be back in action on Monday at home against the Climax/Fisher Knights
