The Fosston Greyhounds jumped out to a 22-0 lead and never looked back as they defeated the Climax/Fisher Knights 84-40 Thursday night at the Fosston Gym. The Knights were held scoreless until 8:23 remained in the first half and trailed 48-18 at halftime. Twelve players scored for Fosston with Tony Carlin and Carsen Boushee leading the way with 15 points each. Aaron Norland added 10 points and Zach Theis and Darren Skala each added 9 points for Fosston as the Greyhounds improved to 12-2 overall and 8-1 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Ethan Evitts led the Knights with 32 points as Climax/Fisher falls to 3-13 overall and 2-7 in the conference. Fosston won the “B” Squad game over Climax/Fisher 51-31. The Greyhounds will play their next game on Friday, January 27th when they play at #3 ranked Cherry (96.7 FM). The Knights will play their next game on Tuesday, January 31st when they travel to Win-E-Mac.
