Recap

The International Falls football team hosted Crosby-Ironton in the regular season finale.  The first quarter and a half belonged to the Rangers as they built a 24-0 lead with just under 3 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.  The Broncos drove 70 yards in 8 plays to score with 22 seconds left in the half.  Hendrix Torgerson caught a 22-yard pass from Cody Joslyn and after Joslyn shoveled the 2-point conversion pass to Parker Olson, the Broncos trailed 24-8 at the half.  Crosby-Ironton opened the 2nd half with a quick TD drive after which the Broncos answered back with a 43-yard touchdown pass to Landon Budris from Joslyn and the Falls trailed 32-14.  CI scored the next 2 touchdowns before the International Falls scored the games final 2 touchdowns for a final of 47-30.  Joslyn threw his 3rd touchdown pass of the game and his 2nd to Torgerson, a 24-yard score followed by a Hayden Swenson 11-yard pass to Carter Line, his varsity touchdown.  After the game, Hendrix Torgerson says he told Cody Joslyn just throw him the ball and he would catch it.

Joslyn set the school record for touchdown passes in a season during the game as the Broncos fall to 2-6 on the season.  Crosby-Ironton improved to 4-4 and these two teams will likely play in the Section 7AA semifinals on Saturday, October 29th.  The QRF is finalized today for the playoff seeds.
